The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), formerly known as the Alberta Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), is an economic immigration program that nominates skilled individuals for permanent residence in Alberta.

The program's purpose is to select skilled workers and entrepreneurs who have the skills and experience needed to contribute to Alberta's economy. A successful nomination from the AAIP significantly increases a candidate's chances of being granted permanent residency by the Government of Canada.

The AAIP includes several streams tailored to different types of candidates, such as:

Alberta Express Entry Stream:

For candidates with a profile in the federal Express Entry system.

Rural Renewal Stream:

For individuals who want to work and live in a rural Alberta community.

Graduate Entrepreneur Stream:

For international graduates from an Alberta post-secondary institution who want to start a business.
